The methods and objectives of the project “The Grand Projects – Architectural and Urbanistic Operations after the 1998 Lisbon World Exposition” were presented in form of a poster at Public Policy Forum 2019 (“Fórum de Políticas Públicas 2019”) on 12th and 13th of February of 2019, in the Assembly of the Republic and ISCTE-IUL.

The poster was an opportunity to disseminate the research project to the scientific community, inscribing its scope in the debate promoted by the institutions and their representatives, subordinated to the theme of the event of this year “Development, decentralization and Local power “.

The topics launched were:
a) “Did you know that the urban model tested at Expo 98, served as the basis for rehabilitation of 22 Portuguese cities under the Polis program?”
b) “Did you know that the General Plan of Interventions in the Riverfront of Lisbon, launched by the City Hall in 2008, envisages expanding the concept of public space tested in the 3 km of the Parque das Nações, for the 20 km of the riverfront of the capital?”
