EURAU 2020 Conference Presentation

The Grand Projects team took part in the EURAU 2020, European Research in Architecture and Urbanism Conference.
The event themed “Multiple Identities. Reflections on the European City” took place at Birmingham School of Architecture and Design and Staffordshire University on the 8 – 11 September 2021, also with hybrid online sessions.

Ana Brandão, in the representation of the GP team, presented research on “The renovation of Lisbon’s waterfront image: events, public space and architecture” on the panel “Place, Practice, and Making the City”. The work focused on the changes in the Lisbon waterfront urban landscape, particularly urban development operations, redesigned public spaces, and new iconic buildings.
