Architectural and urbanistic operations after the 1998 Lisbon World Exposition

Fieldwork on Polis Program Cities

From 29th July to 21st September, the research team is conducting fieldwork on the selected 22 Polis Program cities.
This task includes the previous gathering and systematization of information, on-site data collection and verification. Overall, the work aims to provide more insights to complete the database of the program in which the following analysis will take place:

• Specify the environmental, social, urban and economic impact of the changes in urban plans and interventions under study;
• Identify critically the main technological developments that emerged during the construction processes;
• Evaluate the social, urban and economic impact of public and private investments in the different plans;
